To the citizens of Gilpin County I would like to thank all that have called and agree with me on the Road and Bridge building. After the last Commissioners meeting things got very interesting. In talking with the other Commissioners and Earl, they admitted that we don't have Bio-Mass. We are going to have to buy the chips for a million-dollar woodstove. This has to stop. Please call the other Commissioners and try to stop this fiasco.

  We would like to thank the Lump Gulch Bunco Group and their special guests who attended the Christmas Party in December. Their generous donation of $700 to the Gilpin County Senior Program in honor of Bonnie Cashion was a wonderful gift. We were so pleased and moved by the generosity of this amazing community. We plan to have lots of fun with this windfall!

  To the Nederland Chamber Members and Affiliates, thank you! It has been a pleasure to serve all of the members of the Nederland Area Chamber of Commerce for over four years. I've enjoyed meeting and working with each of you.
