Nederland’s 8th Annual Champion Awards Nominations Due

01/11/2007 - Nominate your favorite champions of the community—the hardworking, cheerful people who make the Peak-to-Peak area a great place to live! Many different individuals and groups have committed countless hours to enhancing our community. Let's celebrate the Nederland community and honor the individuals and groups who made a difference in 2006. Nominations are due by Janurary 26th to PPHCP. The award ceremony will be held Saturday February 24th at 3 pm at the Presbyterian Church. Light refreshments will be served.

 There are two categories of awards:

Volunteer Recognition by area groups

  Peak to Peak Healthy Communities Project requests that local organizations select a volunteer from your group to receive special recognition for their contribution toward the efforts of your group in making the Greater Nederland Area community a better place in 2006. Paid staff is not eligible for this award. (Please ensure this individual is invited to attend the event!)

Community Champion Awards

  Please consider nominating anyone in the community who made a difference in 2006 (paid staff member, volunteer, board member, etc.) for these awards.
