Community Center Fitness Expo

1/13/2005 - On January 8, 2005, the Gilpin County Community Center held its first Fitness Expo.  Those who turned out had a chance to try out for free the many class offerings at the Community Center as well as instruction in weight training and cardio vascular equipment.  Participants rotated between 20-minute classes including Yoga, Aquacize, Nia, Cardio-sculpt, Body-shaping, and Tae-Kwon-Do.  The children had their own Expo going and there was a great turnout to sample the classes in Tumbling, Dance, and Martial Arts.

The Gilpin County Community Center provides not only a Fitness program, but also offers classes in Aquatics, Art, Pottery, Spanish, Crafts, Sports, Leagues, as well as programs for Children, Teens, Seniors and more.  Call 303-582-1453 for more information about classes and schedules.
